"Healthy Food: Korean Beef"—National Korean Beef Association Promotes the Excellence of Hanwoo

[Financial News] The National Korean Beef Association has launched a promotional campaign to highlight the value of the Hanwoo industry.
The National Korean Beef Association said on the 18th that it participated in the 2026 Korea Agriculture Expo, held from the 10th to the 13th, with support from the Hanwoo Self-Assessment Fund.
At the expo, the association explained the value and importance of the Hanwoo industry, a key sector of agriculture, to the public. It also shared the industry's growth alongside Korean agriculture and the significance of that development.
In particular, the association highlighted Hanwoo's nutritional value and the various stages of the industry, from production to consumption. It also emphasized the role and value of the Hanwoo industry in promoting sustainable agriculture.
The Hanwoo information center focused on building trust in and interest in Hanwoo as a healthy food while highlighting its excellence and distinctiveness to visitors interested in Korean agricultural and livestock products under the theme "Make Every Table More Hanwoo." It provided diverse information about Hanwoo through promotional videos, leaflets and cooking displays, helping consumers become more familiar with the product.
The center also displayed various dishes, including Hanwoo steak and Hanwoo rice cooked in a traditional pot, to introduce ways to enjoy Korean beef in everyday life. Visitors were able to sample Hanwoo striploin steak and experience its taste and quality firsthand.
Min Kyung Chun, president of the National Korean Beef Association, said, "As the slogan 'Make Every Table More Hanwoo' suggests, we will continue to create diverse opportunities to communicate with consumers so that Hanwoo can become a more familiar food in people's daily lives, while broadly promoting the value and importance of the Hanwoo industry."
