"Defend Against AI Attacks with AI"... AhnLab Unveils Its "Agentic AI Security" Strategy

[Financial News] AhnLab has unveiled its "Agentic AI Security" strategy, under which multiple AI agents independently make decisions, collaborate and respond to cyberattacks that use artificial intelligence (AI). As AI expands the speed and scope of attacks, the company aims to shift security operations from existing models dependent on human intervention to an AI-based autonomous system.
At AhnLab ISF 2026, an integrated security strategy conference hosted by AhnLab at The Westin Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 17th, AhnLab CEO Kang Seok-gyun said, "As an AI-native security platform company, the most important thing is not 'what AI capabilities we provide,' but 'whether we can use AI to solve customers' security problems more effectively.'" He added, "Even in the coming AI era, we will remain focused on delivering greater value to our customers."
AhnLab ISF is AhnLab's largest annual conference, where the company shares the latest security trends and response strategies with public-sector, financial and corporate customers.
This year's event was held under the theme "Agentic AI Security: Fast, Intelligent and Autonomous." Centered on its integrated brand AhnLab AI PLUS, AhnLab presented a security operations strategy in which AI goes beyond analyzing security threats to making decisions and carrying out responses.
Han Chang-kyu, head of AhnLab's research center, delivered the first keynote and emphasized the need for an autonomous security platform that can make decisions and respond independently, noting that AI is significantly increasing the speed of cyberattacks and expanding the attack surface. In particular, he introduced an agentic AI-based security architecture in which multiple AI agents collaborate to carry out security operations based on AhnLab AI PLUS.
Kim Chang-hee, head of AhnLab's product planning division, presented a security operations model that connects data scattered across products and security areas to identify the context of attacks and proceed through to response. Seung-kyung Lee, head of AhnLab's artificial intelligence development office, introduced the evolution of AI-based attacks and the current state of AhnLab's AI-native security technologies under the theme "An Era in Which AI Attacks and AI Defends."
The subsequent track sessions featured 10 presentations under the themes "AI-Driven Security Platform" and "Security Operations and Governance." Security experts from AhnLab, its subsidiaries and customer companies covered AI security operations centers (SOCs), physical AI security, generative AI security, intelligent zero trust and the latest cybersecurity regulations.
The venue also featured exhibition booths where attendees could experience AhnLab's and its partners' security products and solutions firsthand and see how AI technologies operate in real-world security environments.
