SK Broadband Earns 'Excellent Human Resources Development Institution' Certification, Recognized for Fostering AX Talent

[Financial News] SK Broadband has earned the government's 2026 Excellent Human Resources Development Institution (Best HRD) certification, receiving recognition for its human resources management and development capabilities. The company was particularly praised for establishing a training system that enhances the practical AI capabilities of all employees in line with the shift toward AI transformation (AX).
SK Broadband announced on the 18th that it had obtained the 2026 Excellent Human Resources Development Institution certification, jointly administered by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), and Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The Excellent Human Resources Development Institution certification is a nationally recognized HR certification program that evaluates 19 human resources management (HRM) indicators and 24 human resources development (HRD) indicators, including ability-based recruitment and management and the provision of ongoing training opportunities.
SK Broadband underwent evaluations of its overall human resources and management systems through a written review and an on-site assessment by experts. The company explained that it received particularly high marks for its HR management in preparation for the AX era and its company-wide AI competency development programs.
SK Broadband has expanded its AI training beyond specialized personnel to include all employees. It has customized the training system according to job function and AI proficiency, while operating programs that enable employees to apply AI technologies to their actual work and strengthen AX capabilities across the organization.
Building on this certification, SK Broadband plans to continue strengthening its talent development system. The company will provide employees with diverse opportunities for growth while enhancing its competitiveness in securing top talent in the recruitment market.
