A "Masked Flasher" Beyond a Girls' High School Window... Police Still "Fumbling" Four Months After He Began Appearing Up to Four Times a Week

[Financial News] A so-called 'flasher' who has repeatedly appeared near a girls' high school and exposed himself while concealing his face has remained at large since last year, as police have yet to catch him.
According to JTBC's 'Sageonbanjang' on the 18th, a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, identified as Man A, has appeared around the school since last year while concealing his face with a hat, mask and other items and exposing himself.
Man A mainly appears on a wooded hill near the school, in a spot clearly visible from classroom windows. His appearances were infrequent during the winter, but as the weather has recently turned cooler, he has been spotted three or four days a week. He reportedly appeared for three consecutive days through the day before the program aired.
Student B encountered Man A this summer while visiting the school for weekend self-study ahead of midterm exams. There was reportedly no one else nearby at the time.
Student B said, "I was startled when a man I had never seen before waved at me from a distance, but when I got closer, I saw that he was completely naked from the waist down," adding, "He was less than 5 meters away." She continued, "He was wearing a mask and sunglasses, so I couldn't see him clearly, but he seemed to be smiling slightly," and said, "I was so startled that I couldn't move."
The man reportedly also danced while undressed or made movements resembling writing his name with his buttocks.
Students said, "He sometimes bends his upper body all the way down and sticks only his buttocks up, like Jjanggu doing the Buri Buri Dance." 
Some students speculated that Man A might know the school's schedule, noting that he also appears during weekend self-study sessions held only during exam periods. There were also reports of sightings on the school's stairs and athletic field.
Police began receiving related reports in May this year and searched the area three times, but failed to apprehend Man A.
The school said it is recording the locations where Man A appears with CCTV cameras and added, "School safety guards also patrol the area frequently."
