Saeul Nuclear Power Site Busy Supporting Welfare Facilities and Vulnerable Groups Ahead of Chuseok

【Financial News, Ulsan—Choi Su-sang, Reporter】 Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP)'s Saeul site said on the 17th that it had delivered 425 sacks of rice and 195 boxes of pears to 34 welfare organizations in Seosaeng, Ulju County, ahead of Chuseok.
The rice and pears will be distributed to vulnerable residents through these organizations. The Saeul Volunteer Corps, made up of Saeul site employees, also visited two centers for people with severe disabilities and delivered the agricultural products in person.
Saeul site head Kim Sang-woo said, "The Saeul site will continue providing tangible, mutually beneficial support that can offer practical help to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities in the community."

Earlier, on the 14th, the Saeul site also provided 70 disadvantaged households in the Ulju area with agricultural products such as rice and pears, as well as items needed for holiday meals, including pancake mix, roasted seaweed and sesame oil.
On the 8th, employees from the Saeul Volunteer Corps, including Saeul site head Kim Sang-woo and site labor union chairman Kim Min-young, visited Namchang Onggijonggi Traditional Market for a joint labor-management shopping event. They purchased household goods and food ingredients worth 5 million won and delivered them to four welfare facilities in the area: Ulsan Childcare Home, Ulsan Independent Living Center, Ulsan Senior Citizens’ Home and Seongae Senior Citizens’ Home.
