[Financial News] Lotte World Tower and Mall will showcase a variety of content during the Chuseok holiday, ranging from a media facade and an autumn garden to exhibitions and interactive experiences.
According to industry sources on the 17th, Lotte World Tower and Mall will display a 'Moon Rabbit' media facade on the exterior of Lotte World Tower for four days from September 24 to 27, marking the Chuseok holiday. The display depicts two moon rabbits pounding a mortar against a yellow full moon. It will run for 10 minutes at 15-minute intervals starting on the hour from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The media cube in front of Lotte World Tower will feature an autumn-season display through October 31, inspired by 'Conversations with Goethe,' a book by Johann Peter Eckermann, a disciple of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The display conveys a message of hope through a rising sun and features silhouettes that appear on the screen when visitors approach.
At the nearby Werther Garden, 20 varieties of autumn flowers, including roses, gujeolcho chrysanthemums and asters, will be planted so visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of autumn in the middle of the city.
Seoul Sky will operate the experiential themed space 'T1 IN THE SKY' in collaboration with global esports company T1 through November 29. Exhibits and photo zones featuring T1's achievements have been arranged along the route to the observation deck.
During the same period, Lotte World Aquarium will offer photo zones and augmented reality (AR) experiences featuring popular characters such as My Melody and Kuromi transformed into mermaids. At Lotte Museum of Art, a solo exhibition by leading Korean contemporary artist Lee Kang So, titled 'Lee Kang So: Emergence and Dissolution,' will run through November 1.
Lotte World Mall, Lotte World Aquarium, Seoul Sky, Lotte Duty Free, and the FRESH 365 and LOTTE HIMART World Tower stores will operate as usual during the Chuseok holiday. However, on Chuseok Day, Lotte World Mall will open at noon and begin operations later than usual.
