Shinhan Bank Allocates KRW 500 Billion Special Limit for Mortgage Loans Arranged Through Brokers for Young Borrowers

[Financial News] Shinhan Bank will resume mortgage loans arranged through loan brokers, which were suspended earlier this month after the lending limit was exhausted, exclusively for borrowers aged 39 or under. 
According to financial-sector sources on the 17th, Shinhan Bank has allocated an additional special limit of KRW 500 billion for mortgage loans through its loan broker channel. The bank plans to allocate KRW 250 billion starting on the 18th and another KRW 250 billion starting on the second of next month. 
The loans are available to young people aged 39 or under.   
Shinhan Bank previously suspended applications through loan brokers after the allocation reopened on the first of this month was exhausted within two days. The bank manages the limit on new household loans arranged through loan brokers on a monthly basis.
