Duksung Women's University (DSWU) Holds Recruitment Briefing for Army Officer Candidates with Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) General Officers Taking Part

[Financial News] DSWU held a recruitment briefing and campus recruiting event for Army officer candidates, with ROKA general officers and active-duty officers taking part.
DSWU said on the 17th that it held the "2026 Second-Semester Campus Recruiting for Army Officer Candidates with ROKA Generals" on the 8th and 9th around the university's Main Lecture Hall and Student Union. The event was aimed at current students, expected graduates, graduates seeking employment and local young people.
Held in cooperation with ROKA Personnel Command, the event provided information on the Army officer candidate program, application procedures, service conditions and welfare benefits, while offering career information in the military sector.
On the 8th, a recruitment briefing followed an employment support meeting between Min Jae Hong, president of DSWU, and ROKA general officers. During the briefing, ROKA general officers introduced military life and organizational experience, while active-duty officers answered students' questions.
Students received counseling on officers' roles, military organizations, and duties and career paths by branch. A separate campus recruiting booth was set up in front of the Student Union to provide information on the recruitment process and application methods for ROKA officers.
The event also included awards for outstanding students, including the ROKA Chief of Staff Award and the ROKA Personnel Commander's Award, as well as a special lecture by ROKA general officers.
Jung Ji-yong, head of DSWU's University Job Center and a professor in the Department of Business Administration, said, "The event gave students an opportunity to connect their majors and capabilities with the ROKA's various branches and positions and explore new career possibilities."
