[Financial News] IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a company of HDC Group, has opened the 26th Symphony Small Library at Sadang Middle School in Dongjak District, Seoul.
According to IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY on the 17th, the newly opened Symphony Small Library is the first library established by the company this year. It provides an educational and cultural space where students can access books more easily and read freely.
The opening ceremony, held on the 16th, was attended by local officials and representatives, including Kim Nam-hee, principal of Sadang Middle School; Ryu Sam-young, head of Dongjak District; and Shin Wang-seop, a director at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY.
The Symphony Small Library is IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY’s flagship social contribution program for improving the educational environment in local communities through books. Since opening its first branch in Gunsan in 2014, the company has created reading spaces at schools and welfare centers.
IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY is considering establishing Symphony Small Libraries this year at Changsin Elementary School in Jongno District, Seoul; Bukseoul Vocational Rehabilitation Facility for People with Disabilities in Gangbuk District, Seoul; Yangsan Ronald McDonald House in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do; Songjukwon in Seodaemun District, Seoul; Samgwang Elementary School in Yongsan District, Seoul; and Changsam Municipal Youth Reading Room in Jongno District, Seoul.
An IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY official said, "We are pleased to open this year’s first Symphony Small Library at Sadang Middle School." The official added, "By the end of this year, we plan to fully launch key social contribution programs, including the Symphony Classroom Forest project and a cooperative project with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to improve residential environments, while focusing our capabilities on supporting future generations and vulnerable groups."
IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY plans to continue providing educational and cultural support through the Symphony Small Library program, including book donations, facility improvements and reading programs. It also plans to steadily expand its social contribution activities for future generations and vulnerable groups.
