[Breaking News] Seoul Metropolitan Government also loses appeal over Namsan Gondola project: “Revocation of designated-use-zone change”

[Financial News] The appellate court has also ordered the revocation of the designated-use-zone change for the Namsan Gondola project being pursued by Seoul Metropolitan Government. Hanguk Sakdo Gongup, the operator of the currently operating Namsan Cable Car, won the case, leaving the gondola project stalled.
The Administrative Division 7 of the Seoul High Court, presided over by Judge Kwon Soon-hyung, ruled in favor of Hanguk Sakdo Gongup and the other plaintiffs on Monday in their lawsuit against Seoul Metropolitan Government seeking the revocation of a disposition concerning an urban management plan decision. The ruling upheld the first-instance judgment.
The appellate panel did not explain the specific grounds for its ruling in court. It also ordered Seoul Metropolitan Government, the defendant, to bear the costs of the appeal.
