Soomgo and Bbaek Ga Renovate 30-Year-Old Home of Independence Patriot’s Descendants

Soomgo announced on the 17th that it had carried out a home improvement project for descendants of an independence patriot in collaboration with the YouTube channel 'Bbaek Ga Unni.'
The recipients were Cho Wan-gu's grandson and his wife. Cho Wan-gu participated in the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea (KPG) and served as head of its Ministry of Home Affairs, among other positions. According to Soomgo, the home where the elderly couple had lived for more than 30 years had severe condensation and mold problems, while its aging facilities required comprehensive repairs.
Soomgo experts took part in repairing the home. Their work included removing mold, replacing wallpaper and flooring, removing thresholds to prevent falls, replacing LED lighting to improve visibility, and organizing the space with the couple's daily movements in mind.
Bbaek Ga also personally participated in the demolition and cleaning work at the site. He paid out of pocket for furniture, including a bed and desk, as well as household convenience items. Bbaek Ga is known to be a descendant of an independence patriot and registered as a Soomgo expert two years ago.
The home improvement process for the project will be released on the YouTube channel 'Bbaek Ga Unni.' The first episode was released on the 11th, and the second is scheduled to be uploaded at 6 p.m. on the 18th.
