Ildong Pharmaceutical Launches 'Ildong Saw Palmetto Poten,' a Health Supplement for Prostate Health and Endurance

[Financial News] Ildong Pharmaceutical has introduced a health functional food focused on prostate health and endurance enhancement.
Ildong Pharmaceutical (CEOs Yoon Woong-seop and Lee Jae-joon) announced on the 17th that it has launched the health functional food 'Ildong Saw Palmetto Poten (pictured)'.
'Ildong Saw Palmetto Poten' is a product that uses Saw Palmetto fruit extract and Octacosanol as its main functional ingredients. Saw Palmetto fruit extract is a functional ingredient that can help maintain prostate health, while Octacosanol can help improve endurance.
The Saw Palmetto fruit extract uses US-sourced raw materials processed using supercritical fluid extraction. Each capsule contains 115 mg of lauric acid, the main component of Saw Palmetto. Each capsule also contains 40 mg of Octacosanol.
It also contains zinc, manganese, vitamins B2 and B6, and pantothenic acid. Zinc is necessary for normal immune function and cell division, while manganese is a nutrient required for energy utilization and protecting cells from free radicals. Vitamins B2 and B6, and pantothenic acid are components necessary for energy production and nutrient metabolism, respectively.
As an auxiliary ingredient, 600 mg of Western pumpkin seed oil was added per capsule.
Ildong Pharmaceutical has set the health functional food corners within pharmacies as the primary distribution channel for its new product and plans to conduct marketing centered on pharmacies.
An official from Ildong Pharmaceutical stated, "We plan to expand our health functional food business through product marketing that takes into account the characteristics and expertise of the pharmacy market."
