Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education to Open 147 School and Institutional Parking Lots Free of Charge During Lunar New Year Holiday

【Financial News Incheon = Reporter Han Gap-su】 The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will open parking lots at schools and educational institutions across the area free of charge during the Lunar New Year holiday to provide parking convenience for people returning to their hometowns and local residents.
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 17th that it will open 147 parking lots at schools and institutions across the area free of charge from January 24 to 27, during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The parking lots are being opened to ease parking shortages and improve convenience for people visiting Incheon Metropolitan City and local residents during the holiday.
However, the parking lots will operate without dedicated management personnel during the holiday, so users must exercise particular caution. The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education urged visitors to follow the rules, including preventing student safety accidents, displaying contact information on the front of vehicles, refraining from illegal dumping, preventing damage to facilities, and moving vehicles on the final day of the holiday.
In particular, school facilities include equipment and structures related to students’ educational activities. Visitors should therefore take care not to damage facilities while using the parking lots or enter school buildings and grounds unnecessarily.

Superintendent of Education Do Seong-hun said, "We will continue the free holiday parking-lot program so that the education office can communicate and grow together with the local community."
