Jeonbuk State to Implement Comprehensive Chuseok Holiday Measures

【Financial News, Jeonju = Reporter Kang In】 Jeonbuk State has established comprehensive measures to stabilize residents’ livelihoods during the Chuseok holiday and will begin full-scale implementation.
According to Jeonbuk State on the 17th, the measures were announced at a press briefing that day as the province moved to deliver results that residents can feel.
The comprehensive plan includes 15 tasks across four areas: the regional economy, livelihood support, domestic consumption, and safety response.
A comprehensive situation room will operate throughout the holiday period to maintain an emergency contact system and ensure a swift on-site response.
The province will proactively manage prices of holiday goods and implement measures to invigorate the regional economy. It will monitor vulnerable and marginalized groups while strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners facing management difficulties. To help visitors returning to their hometowns and residents enjoy a pleasant and comfortable holiday, the province will promote tourism, expand transportation services, and strengthen support for traditional markets and small business owners. It also plans to further reinforce its on-site response system to protect residents and visitors throughout the holiday.
Im Cheol-eon, head of the Planning and Coordination Office of Jeonbuk State, said, "We will implement the comprehensive measures to stabilize residents’ livelihoods without a hitch so that residents and visitors returning to their hometowns can rest with peace of mind and comfort during the Chuseok holiday."
