[Financial News] MINTROCKET has launched the mobile version of Dave the Diver in global markets. The company aims to build on the momentum of the game, whose cumulative sales have surpassed 10 million copies, by expanding to additional platforms.
According to industry sources on the 17th, Dave the Diver is a hybrid marine adventure game that combines exploration of The Blue Hole with the operation of a sushi restaurant.
Players collect marine life during the day and run a sushi restaurant at night using the ingredients they have gathered. It is the first domestically developed single-player packaged game to surpass 10 million copies in cumulative sales.
The mobile version is being released simultaneously worldwide on the App Store and Google Play. Its gameplay has been adapted from the PC and console versions for mobile devices, while preserving the game's distinctive responsiveness. It was first released in China in February, where it sold more than 1 million copies and simultaneously topped the paid-game charts on both the App Store and TapTap.
The mobile version also includes major content praised in the PC and console versions. Players can access the fishing adventure game DREDGE collaboration content and the major expansion DLC In the Jungle from launch day. Those who purchase the base game will also receive Digital Extras at no additional cost, including the Cobra's Boat Skin, a digital artbook, and the original soundtrack.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the mobile release, MINTROCKET is offering the base game at a discounted price on each marketplace through the 30th of this month. The company also plans to participate in The Triple-i Initiative, an international game showcase scheduled for October 8, where it will reveal new information related to Dave the Diver.
