Floor Leader Han said, "The youth employment rate stood at 44.1% last month, marking the 28th consecutive month of decline compared to the same month of the previous year," adding, "It is difficult to find a job in the first place, and even if one manages to get employed, it is not easy to save assets and prepare for the future while struggling with the burden of housing costs."

Floor Leader Han stated that the government is preparing a 'Youth Housing Welfare Plan' aimed at announcing it before Chuseok, which includes measures to supply universal rental housing that significantly lowers income and asset thresholds and raises quality to a level where young people want to live.
He said, "I will take responsibility for providing stable housing for young people so that they do not mortgage their future to housing worries."
Floor Leader Han said, "We will not leave the burden of starting a family and having children solely to young people," and added, "We will ensure that work-family balance systems, including the 'three-piece spousal support set' starting on the 18th, are successfully established."
Referring to the recent public sentiment among young people toward the Democratic Party of Korea, he promised, "Harsh evaluations are emerging. I will not rush to make empty promises to win the hearts of the youth out of impatience." Photo/Video by Reporter Seo Dong-il
