[Financial News] A man in his 50s has been arrested for allegedly killing an acquaintance because he believed the person had humiliated him in front of others.
Busan Dongbu Police Station said on the 17th that it had apprehended a man in his 50s, identified as A, on suspicion of murder under the Criminal Act.
A is accused of killing B, a man in his 80s, by wielding a weapon and assaulting him with his fists and feet at a lodging facility in Dong-gu, Busan, at around 11:30 p.m. on the 16th.
Police responding to a report apprehended A at around 11:40 p.m. that same day. Investigators believe A, who has no fixed residence, committed the crime after becoming angry with B for humiliating him. They are investigating the exact motive and plan to seek a warrant for A's detention.
