Lotte Global Logistics Strengthens Logistics Competitiveness in Kazakhstan, Launches Full-Scale Push into Central Asia

[Financial News] Lotte Global Logistics is strengthening strategic logistics cooperation with countries across Central Asia, centered on Kazakhstan.
Lotte Global Logistics said on the 17th that its CEO, Kang Byung-gu, attended a Business Summit on the 16th, joined by business leaders from five Central Asian countries, where he expanded networks with local companies and explored new business opportunities.
Kang had previously attended the Korea-Kazakhstan Business Roundtable held on the 15th. About 180 government officials and business leaders from the two countries attended the event, where they discussed ways to expand economic cooperation.
On the same day, Lotte Global Logistics also signed a memorandum of understanding with Shin-Line Group to strengthen logistics cooperation. Based on their existing regular consultation body, the two companies agreed to develop logistics operating models and related systems suited to the Kazakhstan market and jointly identify local logistics business opportunities.
Lotte Global Logistics plans to strengthen its local logistics competitiveness, centered on Kazakhstan, and expand new businesses across Central Asia.
A Lotte Global Logistics official said, "We will strengthen our strategic cooperation with the Central Asian market and expand our business into various new sectors."
