Riman Korea Launches Lifening Vision Spectrum to Support Eye Health

Lifening, Riman Korea’s health functional food brand, unveiled its first eye-health product, ‘Lifening Vision Spectrum,’ which is scheduled to launch on October 6.
To mark the launch, the company held the ‘RIMAN LAUNCH SEMINAR’ at Grand Walkerhill Seoul.
Approximately 1,000 Riman Korea employees and other stakeholders attended the launch event. Sessions introduced the new product and its key ingredients, while a media wall, product exhibition area, and photo zone presented the product concept and Riman’s research and development capabilities in an immersive format.
A Riman Korea representative emphasized, "Lifening Vision Spectrum is Lifening’s first eye-health functional food product. It was designed to address not only eye health but also antioxidant support and normal immune function. We hope that modern people whose eyes become easily fatigued for various reasons will use this new product to manage their health conveniently and consistently."
Lifening Vision Spectrum is a health functional food developed with carefully selected functional ingredients to support eye health, antioxidant activity, and normal immune function.
It combines Haematococcus extract containing 6 mg of astaxanthin, which may help improve eye fatigue, with vitamins C and E for antioxidant activity and zinc, which is needed for normal immune function.
It also contains Jeju Bija ChlorellaTM extract, copper gluconate, bilberry extract powder, and aronia concentrate powder, with careful attention paid to its supplementary ingredients.
In particular, Jeju Bija ChlorellaTM extract is made from microalgae discovered in Bijarim Forest. Riman’s research and development company, S-Labs, developed the ingredient after receiving the relevant technology from the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB). The entire process, from cultivation in sterile glass tubes to production at a domestic GMP facility, is systematically managed to ensure consistent quality.
The capsules and packaging were also carefully designed for convenient daily consumption. The product uses 100% plant-based capsules derived from microalgae that are easy for the body to digest and absorb. The capsules are small and easy to swallow, reducing the burden of taking them. Individual PTP packaging that blocks light, air, and moisture also improves portability and storage convenience.
Riman Korea will also carry out a social contribution initiative in connection with the product launch. The company plans to donate 1% of Lifening Vision Spectrum sales proceeds to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities. The funds will be used to support medical expenses and assistive devices for elderly people with disabilities and people with visual impairments in Jeju.
