In Kazakhstan, KIND signed agreements with the Alatau Development Authority, Caspian Group, and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation to pursue follow-up development of Alatau Smart Town and identify investment projects. It is also pursuing a joint investment platform, including direct co-investment and the creation of funds.
In Uzbekistan, KIND discussed plans to commercialize the Tashkent Smart Bio-Cluster and Smart Aero City, an airport hinterland complex. It also signed related agreements with the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries.
KIND established a foundation for cooperation with the Center for Public-Private Partnership under the National Investment Agency to identify local public-private partnership investment and development projects and expand Korean companies’ participation.
