[Financial News] CJ ENM is expanding the distribution of K-content in Central and Eastern Europe. The company plans to broaden its reach among European viewers by supplying 10 popular titles to broadcasters in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
CJ ENM announced on the 17th that it expanded local partnerships to promote K-content after participating in the 2026 Poland-Korea Brand Week, held in Poland on the 15th and 16th local time. The event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
At the event, CJ ENM signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korean Cultural Center in Poland and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) to promote K-content in Poland. Building on the agreement, the company plans to expand exchanges with local European institutions and pursue various activities, including content screenings and showcases.
CJ ENM will also expand content distribution partnerships with broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe. It has partnered with the Czech Republic’s TV Nova and Slovakia’s TV Markíza and plans to supply a total of 10 popular library titles.
The event also featured programs based on major CJ ENM productions. Experience booths for Lovely Runner and The Legend of Kitchen Soldier allowed visitors to engage directly with content from the shows.
A special screening of The Legend of Kitchen Soldier and a talk session featuring Kim Tae-hoon, a chief producer at Studio Dragon, were also held. Kim introduced the planning and production process behind the series and engaged with local audiences.
Kim Do-hyeon, head of CJ ENM’s Content Distribution Business Unit, said, "We will continue to work closely with local partners to introduce a wide range of CJ ENM content and expand opportunities for European viewers to experience K-content more closely."
