[Financial News] d'Alba Global rose by more than 6% in early trading as bargain-hunting buying emerged following a recent stock price adjustment.
As of 9:30 a.m. on the 17th, d'Alba Global was trading at 171,000 won on the KOSDAQ market, up 10,900 won, or 6.81%, from the previous trading day.
The stock opened at 159,200 won, fell to an intraday low of 159,100 won, then reversed course and climbed as high as 172,000 won.
d'Alba Global's stock price has undergone an adjustment this month as profit-taking selling emerged across cosmetics stocks. The stock, which closed at 207,500 won on the 1st, fell to 160,100 won the previous day. It declined 22.84% during this period.
Solid earnings and overseas growth are cited as factors supporting the lower end of the stock price. d'Alba Global's second-quarter consolidated revenue this year was 186.9 billion won, up 45.6% from the same period a year earlier. Operating profit rose 61.6% to 47.2 billion won, while the operating margin stood at 25.3%.
d'Alba Global is expanding sales of its mist serum in overseas markets including North America and Europe. This year, it is focusing on increasing the share of global revenue by expanding its overseas distribution network and diversifying its product lineup.
