Hyundai Pharm Surges 11% on News of ‘Pregnancy-Termination Drug Introduction’ [Stock NOW]

[Financial News] Hyundai Pharm shares surged in early trading on news that the government is pursuing the introduction of pregnancy-termination medication in South Korea.
On the KOSPI market on the 17th, Hyundai Pharm was trading at 10,150 won as of 9:32 a.m., up 11.84% from the previous day.
The stock briefly climbed as high as 11,750 won in early trading, up 17.85%.
Buying interest in Hyundai Pharm appears to have surged after the government officially announced the previous day that it would introduce pregnancy-termination medication by the first quarter of next year.
Hyundai Pharm previously signed an agreement with British pharmaceutical company Linepharma International to secure exclusive domestic distribution rights for the oral pregnancy-termination drug Mifegyne-Miso.
Hyundai Pharm has applied three times to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for product approval of Mifegyne-Miso since July 2021, but the drug has yet to receive approval.
