[Financial News] MUSINSA is expanding its offline business in China by opening MUSINSA Store and Musinsa Standard locations simultaneously in Shenzhen.
According to MUSINSA on the 17th, the two locations will open on October 31 at One Avenue, a large mixed-use commercial complex in Shenzhen’s Futian Central Business District.
This marks MUSINSA’s first expansion from its offline operations in eastern China, centered on Shanghai and Hangzhou, into southern China. MUSINSA plans to use Shenzhen as a new base for expanding its offline business into major Chinese cities.
MUSINSA Store will initially carry about 30 Korean fashion brands. Depending on local customer response, the company plans to add more brands and use the location as an offline hub supporting K-fashion brands’ entry into the Chinese market.
The Musinsa Standard Shenzhen location is the brand’s fifth store in China. It will offer products tailored to local demand, reflecting online and offline sales data accumulated through its existing business in China, as well as Shenzhen’s climate and consumer characteristics.
A MUSINSA representative said, "Using its entry into Shenzhen as an opportunity, MUSINSA plans to raise brand awareness in major Chinese cities beyond Shanghai and Hangzhou. We will strengthen our foundation for growth in China by expanding offline customer touchpoints, focusing on key consumer regions."
