"Don't look for your phone to send a text"... SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT)'s Chat+ also supports scheduled sending

(SKT) is moving to expand the user base of 'Chatting Plus (Chatting+) PC Version,' a text messaging service for PCs jointly developed with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. New features, such as scheduled messages and text formatting, will also be added as early as the end of this month.
SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT) announced on the 17th that it is strengthening its Chatting Plus service by adding features such as 'Scheduled Message,' which allows users to send text messages at a desired time as early as the end of this month, and 'Text Style,' which applies text formatting such as bold and italics.
This feature is available if the Samsung Galaxy smartphone linked to the PC version is running One UI 9.0 or higher.
Chatting Plus PC version is a text messaging service for PC jointly developed by SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT) and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT) subscribers using Samsung Galaxy smartphones that support One UI 6.0 or higher can send and receive text messages on their PC using their existing mobile phone number, regardless of whether the other party is subscribed to Chatting Plus.
In a survey conducted by SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT) last June targeting approximately 500 users of the Chatting Plus PC version, 83.7% of respondents said they were satisfied with the service. 82.9% of respondents said they use the service an average of five days or more per week.
SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT) has also prepared a referral and installation event offering prizes worth a total of 20 million won to expand service usage. The referral event works by allowing users to receive a dedicated personal URL from the event page and share it with new customers; if the referred customer completes the installation of the PC program and linking with their mobile phone, it is recognized as a successful transaction.
Among customers who refer 15 or more people, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2, and Naver Pay point mobile coupons will be provided based on referral performance. Users who refer one or more people will also be entered into a raffle to win mobile gift certificates.
An installation event is also being held for first-time users of the Chatting Plus PC version. After applying for the event and completing the PC program installation and mobile phone linking, participants can win a Galaxy Book6 16-inch, Shinsegae Department Store gift certificates, mobile gift certificates, and more through a raffle. If you meet the participation requirements for both the referral and installation events, you can win in both.
The Chatting Plus PC version recommendation and installation event runs for one month, from the 17th to the 16th of next month.
