Billboard Korea's Global K-Songs chart is a weekly ranking that measures the popularity of K-music based on streaming and digital music sales across more than 200 regions worldwide, including South Korea. It covers songs by Korean artists or songs performed in Korean, with figures compiled by Luminate, Billboard's official data provider. Unlike the U.S.-focused Hot 100, the chart serves as an indicator of global K-music consumption trends.
On this week's chart, Lim Young-woong demonstrated his formidable digital music power by placing numerous tracks, including 'ToTo,' the title track from his recently released special digital album 'Im Hero 10,' as well as 'Baila,' 'Moise,' 'Please Be Happy,' 'For Us,' and 'New York.'
Filled with self-written songs and newly remade tracks, Lim Young-woong's 'Im Hero 10' attracted significant attention and affection even before its release. Upon release, its songs entered the charts of various music platforms, including Melon, Genie, and Bugs, and quickly reached No. 1 on the Melon TOP 100 and HOT 100 charts.
'ToTo,' a song listeners want to hear again and again, features a lovely melody and lyrics. Lim Young-woong directly participated in writing and composing the track.
