[Financial News] HiteJinro has stepped up to show care for its neighbors ahead of Chuseok.
HiteJinro said on the 16th that it had carried out a charitable initiative with HITEJINRO Holdings ahead of Chuseok for young adults preparing for independence nationwide and residents of single-room neighborhoods in Seoul.
On the 8th, the company held the "2026 Chuseok Support Package Delivery Ceremony for Young Adults Preparing for Independence" at HiteJinro's Seocho District headquarters. The support packages were designed to ease the financial burden on these young adults and encourage their stable transition to independent living and integration into society.
The packages, worth a total of 30 million won, included practical items such as shampoo, facial toner, lotion, food containers, and Bluetooth earphones. They will be delivered in stages to 300 young adults preparing for independence nationwide before Chuseok.
On the 15th, HiteJinro also delivered "Vitamin Packages," specially prepared with premium apples and pears, to 500 residents of single-room neighborhoods in Seoul through five Ongi Stores in Seoul Station, Yeongdeungpo District, Changsin-dong, Namdaemun, and Donui-dong.
HiteJinro provides the "Vitamin Packages" every month to help residents of single-room neighborhoods maintain healthy diets.
A HiteJinro representative said, "We will continue our social contribution activities to provide practical support in the daily lives of neighbors who need help."
