Kyowon Red Pen Launches One-Year “Growth Campus” to Strengthen Field Teachers’ Professional Expertise

[Financial News] Kyowon Red Pen is undertaking a professional transformation to develop field teachers from simple learning managers into “professional education partners” who support both children and parents.
Kyowon Red Pen announced on the 16th that it is operating “Growth Campus,” a 12-month development program designed to advance Red Pen teachers’ professional expertise and support their growth at each stage.
The program was created to expand teachers’ roles beyond explaining textbooks and managing learning progress, enabling them to understand members’ characteristics and serve as professional consultants who recommend optimal educational directions to parents. In particular, the program will focus on developing teachers’ data-analysis skills by using the “KED Diagnostic Test” to analyze members’ personality, interests and cognitive abilities from multiple perspectives, then connect the results to customized consultations with parents.
Growth Campus operates on three main pillars: “Growth Class,” a competency-building program; “Growth Mileage,” a rewards system; and the “Child Growth Program (FGP),” a welfare benefit. Through online and offline content and lectures by invited outside experts, teachers will learn childcare, education and coaching techniques and receive feedback based on analyses of field cases.
The program also links rewards and welfare benefits to motivate teachers. Mileage will be awarded on a tiered basis according to training completion rates and practical performance. Accumulated mileage can be exchanged for weekend experience programs for teachers’ children, career and aptitude consulting, and participation fees for overseas leadership camps. The strategy is designed to strengthen both field personnel’s professional expertise and their motivation to remain with the company by turning teachers’ individual development into educational welfare benefits for their children.
A Kyowon Red Pen official said, “This is a revamp designed to keep pace with changes in the educational environment, where the ability to assess and understand each child’s individual characteristics has become more important than simply acquiring knowledge.” The official added, “We will actively support the continued growth of field teachers so they can provide parents with optimal solutions.”
