Ulsan City Council Members Visit Wholesale Market to Inspect Chuseok Prices

【Financial News Ulsan=reporter Choi Soo-sang】Ahead of Chuseok, Ulsan Metropolitan Council Chair Lee Young-ha and other council members visited the Ulsan Wholesale Agricultural and Fish Market, a major agricultural and fish market in Ulsan, on the 16th to inspect holiday price trends.
The council members purchased Chuseok ceremonial food items themselves, helping promote consumption of agricultural and fishery products from Korea.
They also visited a restaurant in the seafood retail building to support seafood consumption and listened to local merchants. They urged citizens visiting the market to help revitalize the local economy through their spending.

Chair Lee Young-ha said, "We will carefully monitor consumer-basket prices and livelihood conditions so that citizens can enjoy a generous and comfortable Chuseok," adding, "Ulsan Metropolitan Council will also listen closely to voices from the field and devote its legislative capabilities to revitalizing the local economy in ways that citizens can feel."
