IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY Delivers Songpyeon and Donations to Nowon District for Chuseok

[Financial News] IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, an affiliate of HDC Group, continued its community-focused social contribution activities ahead of Chuseok.
According to IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY on the 16th, the company held a Chuseok songpyeon-sharing event with the Nowon-gu Volunteer Center. It then visited Nowon 1 General Social Welfare Center to serve meals to local senior citizens and hold a donation ceremony.
The songpyeon-sharing event, held that morning at the multipurpose auditorium of the Nowon-gu Public Health Center, was attended by about 20 leaders of volunteer camps in Nowon District, as well as Jung Myung-jin, director of Nowon 1 General Social Welfare Center; Shin Wang-seop, executive at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY; and Jung Kwang-jae, head of the Urban Renewal Project Acquisition Team at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY.
The participants made songpyeon by hand to distribute to local residents and donated funds to support vulnerable groups.
In the afternoon, they visited Nowon 1 General Social Welfare Center to serve meals to senior citizens in Nowon District and hold a donation ceremony.
The event was attended by Kang Hyun-sook, director of the Nowon-gu Volunteer Center; Shin Wang-seop, executive at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY; and Jung Kwang-jae, head of the Urban Renewal Project Acquisition Team at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY.
Employees of IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY served meals to senior citizens using the welfare center and delivered donations raised through a Happybean fundraising box.
An IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY official said, "We organized various sharing activities in Nowon District to share warmth with our neighbors in the community during Chuseok. We will continue communicating with the local community and carrying out social contribution activities that provide practical help to residents, while expanding a culture of sharing together with the community."
IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY has carried out various social contribution activities centered on Nowon District. This year, new employees delivered snacks they made themselves to local organizations serving children and teenagers, while employees conducted plogging and underwater cleanup activities in Jungnangcheon.
Recently, the company donated 400 shared umbrellas, called "Everyone’s Umbrellas," for use by all residents at Wolgye Siyeong Apartments in cooperation with the Seoul Volunteer Center. IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY plans to expand sharing and volunteer activities that help local residents in their daily lives.
