[Financial News] LF’s casual brand HAZZYS has entered Hong Kong for the first time, expanding its presence in Greater China.
According to LF on the 16th, HAZZYS opened its first store on the third floor of SOGO department store in Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong’s leading commercial districts, on the 14th. The 66-square-meter store, measuring approximately 20 pyeong, showcases the brand’s signature collections, including Hazzys Blue and iKONIC, with a focus on clothing and accessories.
HAZZYS entered mainland China in 2007 and now operates more than 600 stores across the country. After generating 490 billion won in China last year—nearly half of its total annual sales of 1 trillion won—the brand plans to expand into Greater China, including Hong Kong. It currently operates 18 stores in Taiwan and nine in Vietnam. Including Greater China, HAZZYS operates more than 880 stores worldwide.
Interest in HAZZYS is also growing in Greater China. Half of the international customers at the brand’s flagship Space H Seoul store in Myeongdong, Seoul, were from Greater China. Hong Kong customer traffic is also increasing through global online channels. Hong Kong buyers who attended HAZZYS’s global buying event in January responded positively.
HAZZYS is accelerating its global expansion, including in Greater China. Earlier this year, it opened the global flagship store SPACE H SHANGHAI in Shanghai and plans to increase the number of stores in Hong Kong to six within three years. The brand is pursuing entry into Thailand and India next year and is also discussing partnerships in France and the Middle East.
A HAZZYS representative said, "Building on the brand competitiveness and business experience accumulated over many years in China, we have further strengthened our points of contact with customers in Greater China." The representative added, "We will further solidify our position as a global fashion brand."
