Five Regional Headquarters of NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance Certified as Dementia-Friendly Organizations

[Financial News] NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced on the 16th that five of its regional headquarters had obtained certification as dementia-friendly organizations. The five headquarters are located in Busan, Daejeon, Daegu, South Gyeongsang Province, and Chungnam-Sejong.
The dementia-friendly organization certification is administered by the Central Dementia Center under the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW). It is granted to organizations whose employees have all completed dementia-partner training and that take the lead in creating dementia-friendly environments.
The five certified regional headquarters are conducting community-linked campaigns while applying the Safe Care Customer Service Guidelines to provide standardized insurance services for older customers. They plan to reduce communication gaps that may arise in the field, prevent financial harm, and strengthen customer care. The initiative aims to establish a dementia-friendly customer service system in actual insurance operations, going beyond education and campaigns.
The initiative is also part of NH Financial Group’s Safe Care Project, which is being pursued at the group level. NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance plans to continue expanding its dementia-friendly financial activities.
