He also met with merchants and citizens visiting the market to assess its atmosphere ahead of the holiday and hear a range of feedback from the field, including difficulties and inconveniences related to market operations and use.
Busan plans to continue monitoring prices and consumption trends at traditional markets ahead of Chuseok while providing ongoing support to improve merchants’ business conditions and enhance convenience for market visitors. The opinions and inconveniences heard on site will be shared with relevant departments, and the city will review areas requiring improvement to ensure they lead to practical support that citizens can feel in their daily lives.
