[Financial News] CJ OnStyle will host a business-oriented commerce festival bringing together creators, brands and platforms. The company aims to create a venue that goes beyond existing content-focused creator events by connecting collaboration with sales.
According to industry sources on the 16th, CJ OnStyle will hold the Creator Commerce Festival Korea (CCFK) from the 22nd to the 24th of next month at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul. Major platforms including YouTube, Meta Platforms and TikTok, along with creators and more than 100 brands, will participate. About 10,000 creators and industry officials are expected to attend over the three-day event.
The event will share creator-business strategies by platform and industry trends, while featuring talk shows and related lectures by creators including Risabae, Alcohol Lover TV and ITSub. Kkasa-rim and De Ellisa, which have collaborated with CJ OnStyle, are also scheduled to present mobile live broadcasts at the venue.
After the event, collaborations will continue through ONTNER, a creator-commerce matching platform launched on the 8th of this month. The platform supports group purchases, affiliate marketing and content collaborations through product recommendations tailored to each creator, collaboration-performance analysis and personal curation shops.
CJ OnStyle’s creator-collaboration order value increased 330% year on year in the first half of this year, expanding to 4.3 times the previous year’s level. The order value in the first half already surpassed the company’s full-year figure for last year.
A CJ OnStyle official said, "For creator commerce to grow into an industry, there needs to be a structure that brings creators and brands together and turns their collaborations into actual transactions." The official added, "Through CCFK and ONTNER, we will continue turning these connections into business opportunities."
