CG MedTech Co., Ltd. Partners with SOLENDOS to Target the Asia-Pacific Spine Market

[Financial News] CG MedTech Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiary SOLENDOS, is expanding into the Asia-Pacific market by leveraging an integrated portfolio that encompasses everything from spinal implants to minimally invasive treatment devices and spinal endoscopic surgical instruments.
On the 16th, CG MedTech Co., Ltd., a research and manufacturing company for orthopedic and dental implants, announced that it participated in the 'SMISS AP 2026' international conference on minimally invasive spinal surgery (MISS) held in Singapore with its subsidiary, SOLENDOS, a spinal endoscopic surgery solution company, and operated a joint booth.
SMISS AP 2026 was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore on July 17–18. Co-hosted by SMISS Asia-Pacific, ASEAN Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Techniques (ASEAN MISST), and the Singapore Spine Society, the event brought together medical professionals and medical device industry representatives from the Asia-Pacific region to share clinical and surgical techniques related to minimally invasive spinal surgery.
This joint exhibition marks the first time the two companies have showcased products together at an international academic conference since CG MedTech Co., Ltd. acquired a 90% stake in SOLENDOS last December. The two companies introduced a product line capable of handling everything from minimally invasive treatment to spinal endoscopic surgery and spinal fixation and fusion, depending on the patient's condition and surgical method.
CG MedTech Co., Ltd. exhibited the minimally invasive spinal treatment device 'L'DISQ', the spinal implant 'VERTEON', the spinal fixation device 'INNOVERSE Spinal System', and the cervical fusion solution 'UniSpace Stand-Alone C Cage'.
L'DISQ is a minimally invasive spinal treatment device utilizing plasma energy, designed to access target areas within the disc by employing directional electrodes. At the event, there were numerous inquiries regarding the product's directional control method and clinical application techniques.
SOLENDOS introduced the 'TARGET Instrument Set' for spinal endoscopic surgery. It is a product that comprises a variety of surgical instruments in a single set, compatible with endoscopes with 0- and 30-degree fields of view. The endoscopic system is configured separately.
Discussions on business cooperation also continued. During the event, the two companies held over 40 consultations with medical professionals and medical device industry officials from 15 countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Japan. Currently, they are discussing specific plans for product supply and market cooperation with local partners in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Based on clinical demand by country and partner feedback, both companies plan to expand local distribution networks and strengthen product training for medical professionals as well as academic marketing. They will also implement market entry strategies in stages, taking into account country-specific regulatory requirements and market environments.
