[Financial News] Korea Racing Authority (KRA)’s Lets Run Park Busan·Gyeongnam said on the 16th that it held the seventh Veterans Sports Camp over two days starting on the 10th with the Veterans Rehabilitation Sports Center and the Korean Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. The event featured a social-contribution healing horseback-riding program for patriots and veterans and their families.
Healing horseback riding for patriots and veterans and their families is a nationwide collaborative initiative launched in 2022 to expand opportunities for people across the country to experience horseback riding and contribute to local communities. It includes a variety of activities that allow participants to connect closely with horses, such as riding and feeding them.
Lets Run Park Busan·Gyeongnam has held the healing horseback-riding program for veterans’ families every year since 2022, the first year of the initiative.
This year, it invited 21 members of veterans’ families from South Gyeongsang Province and other areas. Over the two-day, one-night event, participants enjoyed various activities, including horseback riding, feeding horses, a carriage ride, making horse-themed souvenirs and a tour of the racecourse grandstand.
A Lets Run Park Busan·Gyeongnam official said, "We hope patriots and veterans who devoted themselves to the country and their families had time to step away from their daily routines, connect with horses and heal both body and mind."
