Innovative Companies and Investors Gather in One Place... KOFIA and Busan Metropolitan City Government Host ‘MUST ROUND’

[Financial News] The Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) has created a venue where companies and investors can meet to support innovative companies in attracting investment.
KOFIA announced that it will host the 27th MUST ROUND jointly with Busan Metropolitan City Government at CENTAP in Haeundae-gu, Busan, at 3 p.m. on the 16th.
MUST ROUND is an open investor-relations (IR) platform that connects promising companies identified by regional business-support organizations with capital-market investors. Since its launch in 2019, it has expanded investment opportunities and growth prospects for innovative regional companies.
Three companies with technological capabilities in areas including the development of new textiles for air-conditioning applications, smart-port software, and low-altitude airspace management will participate in this edition. The companies were finally selected following a review by a company-selection council comprising the Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency, Busan Techno Park, Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (BCCEI), Busan Economic Promotion Agency, Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, and Design Council Busan.
At the event, the participating companies will directly present their technological competitiveness, market potential and commercialization strategies, and future growth plans. They will also hold real-time question-and-answer sessions with investors attending in person and online. After the IR presentations, the companies and investors will hold individual meetings to discuss investment possibilities in greater detail.
Park Jun-han, chairman of KOFIA’s Busan branch, said, "The greatest significance of MUST ROUND is that it does not end with discovering good companies; it brings them together with investors so they can assess each other’s potential." He added, "I hope this IR event will provide participating companies with new opportunities for growth and give investors a chance to discover promising companies in Busan."
