[Financial News] CJ Group will expand its recruitment intake in the second half of this year by more than 40% from the previous year.
According to CJ on the 16th, 13 affiliates and business divisions—including CJ CheilJedang, CJ Logistics, CJ Olive Young, and CJ ENM—will begin open recruitment for entry-level employees for the second half of 2026. The recruitment intake will be more than 40% larger than in the same period last year, making it the biggest in the past four years.
Applications can be submitted through CJ's recruitment website by 5 p.m. on the 30th. Applicants who pass the document screening and testing stages will proceed through affiliate-specific selection processes, while final successful candidates are scheduled to participate in the group's introductory training program in January next year.
CJ has maintained its open recruitment system for 70 years, based on the management philosophy of 'Talent First,' which has been passed down from the group's founding chairman. The proportion of young people aged 19 to 34 among all recruits has steadily increased, exceeding 70% for four consecutive years since 2022.
For this recruitment drive, CJ will present immersive content that allows job seekers to indirectly experience their companies of interest, job roles, and work environments by leveraging its business capabilities in content and commerce.
CJ's in-house venture Studio Shortnaps and CJ ENM will collaborate to produce an interactive short-form drama, which will be released exclusively on TVING. Viewers will experience different job roles depending on their choices and gain a better understanding of the companies they are applying to. CJ also plans to hold an interactive recruitment briefing using CJ OnStyle's mobile live commerce service and strengthen real-time communication with applicants.
Kim Dong-won, who oversees HR at CJ, said, "We look forward to the active applications and interest of young talent seeking to grow at the forefront of the global K-lifestyle industry."
