Dongseo University Promotes Employment Policy Services to Local Youth

[Financial News] Dongseo University has joined employment-support organizations in promoting field-oriented youth employment policies to improve local young people’s access to jobs and employment services.
Dongseo University’s University Job Plus Center held the 2026 Youth Employment Policy Services Linkage Event on campus over two days recently, with about 680 enrolled students and local young people taking part, the university said on the 16th.
Participants included Dongseo University’s University Job Plus Center, the K-Move School Program Team, the Busan Northern Employment and Welfare Plus Center, and eight youth employment policy agencies that operate the National Employment Support System (NESS) and Work Experience Programs.
The organizers provided information on various youth employment services, including Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students, the National Employment Support System (NESS), and Work Experience Programs, along with application procedures. For students interested in working abroad, K-Move School provided information on overseas internships and employment.
The event went beyond simple promotion by connecting students who wished to participate with program applications and follow-up counseling.
Jeong Do-woon, director of Dongseo University’s Career and Employment Office, said, "Young people face limitations when trying to find each government support program they need while preparing for employment. Through this event, we helped students review various employment-support policies in one place and proceed to actual participation."
