[Financial News] Counselor Lee Ho-seon has reportedly continued donating her broadcasting appearance fees and other earnings to support young people preparing to live independently after leaving residential care. Her cumulative donations have reached 130 million won.
On the 15th, Lee Ho-seon’s good deed was highlighted on tvN STORY’s “Lee Ho-seon Counseling Center” while the cast was discussing the topic “Relationships vs. War.”
In Gyo-jin announced, “There is even better news than that,” adding, “Teacher Ho-seon recently made a donation for young people preparing to live independently.”
Lee Ho-seon explained, “I am donating to support young people preparing to live independently,” adding, “They stay in childcare facilities and enter society when they turn 18. I made the donation as an adult who hopes they will do well.”
She drew attention by reportedly continuing to donate part of her broadcasting appearance fees rather than making only a one-time contribution.
Lee Ho-seon has long continued sharing to help young people preparing to live independently establish themselves on their own. Since 2025, she has donated part of the income she earned from lectures and broadcasting activities to Good Neighbors. She also donated the quiz prize money she received after appearing on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” last January.
The total support provided so far has reached 130 million won. Through her consistent giving, she has also joined Good Neighbors’ major-donor group, The Neighbors Honors Club. The Neighbors Honors Club is an association of supporters who have donated at least 100 million won and contributed to spreading a culture of sharing.
The donations are being used for scholarships, certification training, and living assistance to help young people preparing to live independently take their first steps into society and establish themselves on their own.
