[Financial News] Lexus Korea will host the 2026 LEXUS MASTERS, offering total prize money of 1 billion won, and meet with golf fans. A total of 102 players, including defending champion Kim Jae-ho and TEAM LEXUS members Park Sang-hyun and Ham Jeong-woo, will compete. The tournament venue will also feature the All-New ES electric vehicle and other electrified models, expanding opportunities to experience the brand.
Lexus Korea announced that it will hold the 2026 LEXUS MASTERS over four days from October 29 to November 1 at the Club72 Ocean Course on Yeongjong Island in Incheon.
Now in its third year, the tournament is a regular Korea Professional Golf Association Tour (KPGA Tour) event hosted by Lexus Korea. The total purse is 1 billion won, with 200 million won going to the winner. The tournament will be played over four rounds and 72 holes in a stroke-play format.
Both of the previous two tournaments produced first-time KPGA Tour winners. In the inaugural event in 2024, Lee Seung-taek claimed his first title 10 years after making his tour debut in 2015. Last year, Kim Jae-ho won his 210th tournament appearance since his 2008 debut, becoming the oldest first-time winner in KPGA Tour history.
This year, Kim Jae-ho will defend his title, while 102 KPGA Tour players, including Park Sang-hyun and Ham Jeong-woo, compete for the championship.
Under the theme “Passion and Cheers,” the venue will offer spectator amenities and participation programs. The “Masters Lounge” will operate at the signature ninth hole, allowing visitors to watch the competition, listen to music, and relax. A “High-Five Zone,” where players and spectators can greet one another, will also be set up. Prizes will be given to lounge visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
A lounge exclusively for Lexus customers will be set up in front of the 18th-hole green, offering food and beverages. A shuttle service will also connect the customer-only parking lot with the tournament venue.
The Gallery Plaza will display the All-New ES battery electric vehicle (BEV), scheduled for its official domestic launch on October 13, along with various electrified vehicles. The Lexus Collection and official tournament merchandise will also be showcased.
An invitation-ticket giveaway will be held ahead of the tournament. To enter by September 30, participants must follow Lexus Korea’s official Instagram account, watch the tournament teaser video, and comment with the venue and dates. Through a random drawing, 300 people will each receive one invitation ticket. An additional invitation-ticket promotion is also planned for October.
Kang Dae-hwan, vice president of Lexus Korea, said, “Over the past two years, the LEXUS MASTERS has grown alongside new champions who claimed their first victories. To help advance men’s golf in Korea, we will support the players so they can deliver their best performances this year as well. At the same time, we will continue developing the tournament into an event featuring Lexus’s distinctive golf culture, allowing spectators to enjoy the competition in a comfortable environment and engage more closely with the players.”
Tickets can be purchased through NOL. Lexus owners can receive a 50% discount on admission tickets through the LEXUS LOUNGE app. Further details are available on the official Lexus Korea website.
