[Financial News] Karrot has become the first domestic advertising platform to introduce a Model Context Protocol (MCP) for advertisers. MCP is a technology that enables AI models or agents to connect with various systems and data to retrieve information or perform tasks. By linking an AI service users regularly use with their Karrot advertising accounts, the technology allows them to check and analyze advertising data through conversations with AI alone.
According to industry sources on the 16th, users of Karrot's advertising MCP can check and compare their advertising accounts and balances, active campaigns, and performance by period with a single question.
Users do not need development expertise or to obtain an application programming interface (API) key. They simply register the Karrot advertising MCP server address with their AI service and authenticate with their Karrot Business account. Once connected, the AI retrieves the advertising data needed to answer a question and organizes it in an easy-to-understand format.
The AI service users regularly use can proactively understand the context of their brand or advertising through their previous conversations. This means they can continue receiving specific, situation-appropriate analysis without having to repeatedly explain the purpose and background of an advertisement or provide the data separately.
Users can also expand the scope of their work by using multiple MCP-enabled services together within a single AI service. For example, they can add external data to their Karrot advertising performance analysis and conveniently complete the process of organizing the results into a report within one conversation.
Karrot's advertising MCP is currently available on Claude and ChatGPT. Karrot plans to further enhance its data retrieval and analysis functions and gradually expand MCP support to include features such as ad creation and editing.
