Jeju Air Establishes Its First Standalone Headquarters, Plans to Move In During the First Half of Next Year

[Financial News] Jeju Air is establishing its first standalone headquarters since its founding.
Jeju Air announced on the 16th that it plans to move to its new headquarters in Seoul’s Gangseo District in the first half of next year. The move is intended to help the company respond to the rapidly changing aviation industry, ensure stable business operations, and create a work environment conducive to sustainable growth.
Since its founding in 2005, Jeju Air has operated its Seoul office in facilities belonging to Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) at Gimpo International Airport. With this move, it will have its own independent headquarters for the first time since its establishment.
The new headquarters is located near Gimpo International Airport, allowing Jeju Air to maintain access to its existing operational hub while securing a larger and more efficient workspace. The building has four basement levels and 10 floors above ground, with a total floor area of approximately 15,793 square meters (4,777 pyeong). About 500 employees responsible for management and support functions are expected to work there. Jeju Air plans to use the new headquarters to strengthen communication and collaboration among employees and build a work environment that can respond flexibly to future organizational and business changes.
However, the maintenance division, crew lounge, and some field-support departments that require close coordination with on-site operations will continue working at their existing facilities at Gimpo International Airport, taking operational continuity and stability into consideration.
Jeju Air plans to arrange the interior spaces and facilities at the new headquarters and draw up detailed relocation plans. Its goal is to move in during the first half of next year.
