[Financial News] World Furniture, a leading regional office-furniture company headquartered in Gangseo-gu, Busan, with a manufacturing plant there, announced that it participated in the 2026 Busan Career and Employment Fair for Persons with Disabilities at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2 on the 16th and completed on-site interviews for hiring persons with disabilities.
The event combined a recruitment fair for persons with disabilities with a career-planning academy for students with disabilities.
It was held both online and offline to provide people with disabilities in Busan with practical employment opportunities and to raise community awareness of the employment of persons with disabilities.
Meanwhile, World Furniture has participated directly and indirectly in job-creation initiatives for persons with disabilities through cooperation and partnerships with the Seogu Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities. World Furniture explained that its participation in this fair was also made possible through its ongoing cooperation with the center.
Yoo Sang-su, Planning Manager at World Furniture, said, "It was meaningful to participate directly and indirectly in this fair based on our meaningful relationship and cooperation with the Seogu Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities, and to support quality jobs and career planning for people with disabilities in the local community." He added, "We will continue to communicate closely with the welfare center and other local community organizations and make sustained efforts to expand employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and practice mutually beneficial management."
