Samsung Electronics Showcases AI Data Centers and High-Efficiency Home Appliances at Climate Industry International Expo

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics will showcase customized energy-saving solutions ranging from high-efficiency home appliances to air-conditioning systems for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers.
Samsung Electronics said it has set up a standalone exhibition booth spanning approximately 270 square meters at the 2026 Climate Industry International Expo, held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) from the 16th to the 18th. The event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and Busan.
Samsung Electronics has organized the exhibition space into residential, commercial and industrial zones. Screens and devices installed throughout the booth are connected through coordinated lighting displays, allowing visitors to intuitively see how the energy solutions operate and how they can be expanded.
At the front of the exhibition booth is EHS All-in-One, a residential heat pump solution that provides cooling, heating and hot water through a single outdoor unit. Samsung Electronics is introducing its seasonal operating modes, remote monitoring through the Samsung SmartThings app and integrated business-to-business management functions.
The company is also displaying the EHS Heat Pump Boiler, which uses naturally occurring air heat and electricity to provide heating and hot water. Samsung Electronics’ heat pump solutions have received the top “best value for money” rating from a German quality-and-value research institute, an excellence award at the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026 exhibition in Europe, and the iF Design Award 2026.
Samsung Electronics has unveiled an AI data-center cooling solution developed in collaboration with FläktGroup, which it acquired last year. Alongside central air-conditioning products for advanced industrial facilities and large buildings, the company is showcasing SmartThings Pro, which monitors and controls power consumption in real time. The focus of energy-saving competition is expanding beyond the efficiency of individual products toward integrated management of entire buildings and industrial facilities.
In the residential zone, Samsung Electronics is presenting energy-efficiency grade 1 appliances—including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, dishwashers and induction cooktops—along with the SmartThings-based AI Energy Mode. The exhibition also features AI-powered remote diagnostics for home appliances and software updates provided for up to seven years.
