[Financial News] Cho Yong-pil, known as the “king of singers” in Korean popular music, is returning to the stage this winter.
It will be about 10 months since the “2025-26 Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert” concluded at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul, last January.
According to YPC Production on the 16th, Cho Yong-pil will hold the Seoul leg of the “2026 Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert” at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul, from November 27 to 29.
The concert offers an opportunity to experience in one place Cho Yong-pil’s musical journey, including the signature songs that have been loved unchanged for many years.
Cho Yong-pil began his musical career as a rock band member in 1968 and rose to stardom in 1976 with “Come Back to Busan Port.” He has continued his wide-ranging musical career across genres and generations, releasing numerous hit songs such as “Short Hair,” “The Woman Outside the Window,” “A Friend,” “The Leopard of Kilimanjaro,” and “Bounce,” while moving freely among rock, ballads, and trot.
Even after releasing his 20th studio album in 2024, he has continued touring nationwide and remains an active singer after more than half a century in the industry.
Tickets for the Seoul performance of the “2026 Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert” will be available through YES24 Ticket starting at 2 p.m. on the 18th.
