Stray Kids (SKZ)' Felix Donates 50 Million Won to Nepalese Children for His Birthday

According to UNICEF Korea on the 15th, the donated funds will be used entirely through the UNICEF Nepal office to help children and families in the affected areas. They will be used for providing drinking water and sanitation supplies, health and nutrition support, psychosocial support, and the establishment of temporary learning spaces.
Felix said, "I hope the day of many children is filled with clear hope instead of worry," adding, "I sincerely hope to be a small but warm source of strength for the children's precious today and tomorrow."
According to the committee, flash floods that occurred in Nepal on the 26th of last month affected approximately 84,000 people across 17 municipalities in 6 regions. Among them, about 32,000 were children. Fifty water supply facilities and 20 schools were also destroyed.
Approximately four out of ten affected residents are children. With the water supply and schools destroyed, there is a need for both the supply of drinking water necessary for survival and the restoration of the learning environment.
UNICEF is collaborating with the Nepalese government to support the restoration of water supply facilities and providing drinking water and sanitation supplies, therapeutic food for malnutrition, and learning kits for students and teachers. Psychological support through professional counselors is also being expanded.
Felix was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Korea in September 2024. Since then, he has donated a total of 200 million won for children in Laos and has personally visited the region to meet the children.
