Dongwon Development Group Donates 70 Million Won to Help Flood Victims in Tongyeong

[Financial News] Dongwon Development Group has stepped in to help flood victims in Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province, who suffered damage from torrential rains during last month's Liberation Day holiday weekend.
Dongwon Development Vice Chairman Jang Ho-ik and CEO Park Young-bong visited Tongyeong-si on the 15th and donated 70 million won to support swift flood recovery and help affected residents return to their daily lives.
Dongwon Development contributed 50 million won, while its group affiliate Dongwon Tourism Development added 20 million won.
Jang said, "I hope this small gesture will provide at least some support to residents suffering from the flooding."
Tongyeong Mayor Kang Seok-joo responded, "We will do our utmost to ensure that this valuable donation provides tangible help to affected residents so they can regain stability as soon as possible."
Dongwon Development Group is a leading construction company in the Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province region, founded by Chairman Jang Bok-man, who is from Tongyeong.
