[Financial News] Eugene Investment & Securities donated trees to an association in connection with a walking event for its employees.
According to the financial investment industry on the 15th, Eugene Investment & Securities donated 400 trees to the Noeul Park Citizens’ Association on the 11th.
The donation followed the achievement of the target set for “Walking with Eugene in Spring,” a walking event held for employees during the first half of this year. The event was structured so that donations would be made once the participating employees reached the target based on their combined cumulative step count.
The event ran for about a month, from April 20 to May 17, and involved more than 600 employees. They recorded a cumulative total of 115.61 million steps. After exceeding the original target of 100 million steps, Eugene Investment & Securities donated 400 trees to Noeul Park.
The tree donation ceremony was held on the 11th at the Noeul Park Tree Nursery in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. At the ceremony, the Noeul Park Citizens’ Association presented Eugene Investment & Securities with a plaque of appreciation.
Eugene Investment & Securities has maintained its relationship with Noeul Park since it began creating “Eugene’s Forest” there in 2014 to commemorate the company’s 60th anniversary. Every year, its employees visit the park in person to volunteer in caring for the forest.
