Shinhan Bank to Improve Chinese Koreans’ Access to Financial Services by Expanding Tailored Services

[Financial News] Shinhan Bank is joining forces with the Central Association of Chinese Koreans in Korea to improve Chinese Koreans’ access to financial services in Korea. The bank plans to expand tailored financial services closely connected to daily life, including account opening, salary transfers, and overseas remittances.
On the 15th, Shinhan Bank announced that it had signed a business agreement with the Central Association of Chinese Koreans in Korea at its headquarters in Jung District, Seoul, on the 14th to improve Chinese Koreans’ access to financial services and expand tailored services.
The agreement was established to improve the convenience of financial services for Chinese Koreans residing in Korea by linking Shinhan Bank’s financial infrastructure specialized for foreign customers with the association’s network.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate on linking Shinhan SOL Global with web-based financial services, jointly marketing in-person and online events for Chinese Koreans residing in Korea, and pursuing various other projects to improve the convenience of financial services.
Meanwhile, Shinhan Bank continues to expand its online and offline financial infrastructure to improve foreign customers’ access to financial services. It operates foreigner-focused branches in Ansan-si, Gimhae, and Doksan-dong, and expanded dedicated counters for foreign customers seeking to open new products at its Ansan-si foreigner-focused branch during the first half of this year.
